Shoshi is a painter living in Alaska. She works primarily in oils, but you’ll always find her experimenting with new mediums — whether it’s printmaking, quilting, or woodworking, she loves to dive into learning new skills, trying new forms of visual communication, and seeing what comes of it.

Shoshi’s work explores the built and natural environment as a way to investigate the unseen connections between the physical and the ephemeral, between objects, thoughts, places, and times. She is deeply inspired by her learnings about ecology, time, memory, and physics.
